SMPC bags gold in 55th Anvil awards

Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC) won the Gold Anvil Award at the 55th Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal on February 28 at the Manila Hotel.

SMPC received the merit for its 2018 Integrated Annual Report titled “Powering Forward" under the Public Relations Tools-Multimedia/Digital category.

SMPC was awarded for communicating the Company's commitment to stand as an environmentally and socially responsible organization that creates inclusive progress for its host communities and stakeholders.

The Anvil is a prestigious symbol conferred by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines to outstanding PR campaigns, programs, and tools. Held annually, the awards night recognizes PR practitioners in the country for their exemplary performance in the field.
